This year's DAMA Canberra conference will be held in Canberra on Thursday, 25th March 2010 at the Hyatt Hotel in Yarralumla.
In a change from previous years, the conference will be held in conjunction with the Australian Computer Society (ACS). DAMA has organised the Conference's data management stream. The four conference streams are:
The 2010 DAMA/ACS Conference is a convenient one day event starting at 9:00 am on Thursday 25 March and ending with networking between 5:30 and 7:30 pm. The day will feature plenary speakers followed by breakout streams led by experienced and expert presenters. The lunch, morning and afternoon tea breaks give delegates the opportunity to visit sponsor booths in the exhibition space and to network with colleagues. The event concludes with the UNSW@Canberra LegoTM Robotics Tournament and cocktails commencing at 5:30 pm.
The conference will be opened by John Stanhope MLA, Chief Minister of the Australian Capital Territory

Conference Program:The conference program can be found here. Registration:You will be able to register as an individual, or register as a corporate member and nominate people who will attend. DAMA members attend the conference at the same rate as ACS members. They are also free to attend sessions from any stream. Registration for the conference is via the ACS's online booking system. Individuals wishing to register for the conference should do so via the ACS's online booking system. When registering, members should enter a promotion code of "CONFPARTNERS". Corporate members who want to do a group booking, or who have specific procurement requirements should email the ACS directly at acscanb@acs.org.au providing contact details so that they can contact you, or call them on (02) 6230 1588. The registration fee includes lunch as well as morning and afternoon teas.
