by The MDM Journey at Australia Post Australia Post’s IT landscape is complex, with a combination of packaged software (large dependency on SAP) and in-house development. Multiple copies of the same data are contained across heterogeneous systems in multiple, inconsistent formats. The business has recognised the issues around master data and its impact on the business. Australia Post are committed to supporting a major MDM initiative to improve the management and quality of important business data.
Eva is currently working as an Principal Information Architect at Australia Post.
She has been working as an IT professional for over 20 years with major “Blue Chip” organisations with a key focus
on Data Architectures and Data Management. Her practical work has been supplemented by strong interests in research on the
topic and presentations at national and international conferences. Previous presentations have included IQ Conference at MIT, Australian Data base conference and SAP User Group.
